| Kestar Boot Company was derived from the need of a top quality, comfortable paddock and jodphur boot, at a reasonable price, that didn't require a 'break-in' time. Our boots offer all of these qualities. Kestar Boot Company was started in 2000 by a man and wife with a vision and passion for horses. Their daughters had been riding and showing in the professional horse circuit for over 18 years. Their father had over 25 years of shoemaking experience from his prior career. Their mother bought many, many paddock and jodphur boots for the girls, only to hear complaints about the fit, and disappointment with the quality and durability. We combined our backgrounds, and set out to make the best quality boot on the market, yet to be offered at a reasonable price. Therefore, Kestar Boot Company was born. Kestar Boot Company has over 75 years of shoemaking technology built into each pair of boots. Each boot is inspected with over 50 check points to insure a high quality boot. All boots are made of full grain leather. Kestar boots have breathable lining material to keep the foot cool in the summer, and warm in the winter. All boots have a dual density insole board for long wearing. They have a temper steel shank that is rivoted to insole board and have a cushioned footbed and arch support to add comfort to the wearer. Kestar boots are all back part molded to insure a good fit in heel area and a full rubber, skid-resistant outsole designed for durability and comfortable wear. Kestar boots have a special made last for comfortable fit. Kestar Boot Company has an owner in the factory daily to guarantee uniform quality. | Nicole Dowell has been showing horses since she was 7 years old. She has earned Reserve National Champion Trail with Aishana L.A., our Half Arabian mare and many Top Ten National Championships. She now trains her own horses and continues to show in the Arabian circuit. Leslie Fischbeck has been showing since she was 12 years old and raised and trained Aishana L. A., and also won many Top Ten National Championships in Trail. She too continues to compete in the Arabian circuit along with her 2 children, Chase, 6 years old, and Taylor, now 3 years. Horses is a family love affair and we enjoy trail riding and camping with the horses, as well as competing. |
